Women Enuff, Inc is forever grateful and thankful to Gunnery Sergeant, Kristopher Brake, Mr. Javier Sandoval and everyone else at the Lake County Toys For Tots organization and it's amazing donors! I was fortunate enough to spend lots of time with these individuals and I see the time they sacrifice away from their own families, just to come and serve ours... The gratitude we feel is indescribable as your selflessness has helped so many families this holiday season...

The 2017 holiday season was nothing short of amazing for a lot of families and we owe it to all of these phenomenal Marines who did not just become friends of Women Enuff, Inc...

But they became FAMILY!

Women Enuff, Inc's 2nd Annual Unmask The Violence Masquerade was nothing short of amazing in every way...

Please take a peek at how we unmasked our violence on October 22, 2017!

In loving memory of Camille Cooley of Waukegan, IL

Rest in Paradise Camille "Millie" Cooley

On May 15, 2016 my life changed forever!!! My great friend, Camille Cooley, was killed in a homicide/suicide execution by a man she was dating for only a few months! I remember speaking with Her just hours before heading to the city of Chicago, which was only approximately 45 minutes from her residence in the small town of Waukegan, IL. I was supposed to join her in a trip to the city to enjoy a friend’s college graduation party but something came up and I was unable to attend! My last words to her were, “be safe and I’ll talk to you tomorrow - I love you”. However, I never knew that tomorrow wouldn’t come!!! At around 6 AM I woke up to over 100+ calls and text messages requesting that I stay off Facebook and call them before viewing social media... Of course me being me, I did the opposite and what I saw paralyzed me beyond belief! Every post in my timeline was of my great friend with RIP in the status!!! I became numb... This was a dream, it had to be! The first thing I did was called her phone... No answer! The next instinct was to call her boyfriend as I knew they were together... No answer! I needed answers and I needed them NOW!!! I remember walking out my house and falling to my knees on the concrete as my wife walked up to me... All I could do was yell, “take me to Camille... Take me to my friend!!!” - Without explanation my wife hops in the car and rushes me to Camille’s house where I was joined by her mother and daughters, friends and family... I remember walking into her mother’s room and her looking at me saying, “Deidra!!! Deidra!!! HE KILLED MY BABY!!!!!!!”.... She is saying this as she held in her hand a blood-splattered clutch in which Camille had with her when she was shot, execution-style, before her mate killed himself! I cannot help to think if I was there would he have killed her?! Could I have stopped him?! What really led a mad man to kill such an amazing woman after only knowing her just 4 months?! I don’t know the answer to any of this, but what I do know is I will spend the rest of my life educating, advocating and providing resources to those around the world on domestic abuse! Women Enuff, Inc just held our 2nd Annual Unmask The Violence Masquerade and Camille will live on through us all, forever!!! She is WOMEN ENUFF and everyone will know it... Sponsor-A-Family

Families, clubs, and businesses are invited to sponsor a family for Christmas while Women Enuff, Inc coordinates the effort. Once the family is registered, we supply information such as a wish list and the genders and ages of the children. The sponsors then buy new gifts, goodies, food baskets, Christmas dinners, offer services, etc to make their holiday one to remember! For your convenience, we have added the forms below with information on how to participate in this amazing program. We thank you in advance for your continuous support and overall assistance!

Donation Drives

Women Enuff, Inc (“WE”) helps families get the basic necessities by accepting donations year round to help ease the stress of today’s economy and help families in need of assistance. To date, WE have donated over 5,000 items to families in the Lake County vicinity since April 2009. We have donated baby items, clothing, food, hygiene products and school supplies to make a difference in our community.
