#WE Movement

I have walked miles in the shoes of who I wanted people to think I was and until recently, I didn't realize that who I was, was actually better than who I wanted people to think I was. It wasn't until I refused to be what others said I was, that I began living in my purpose. I've worked my entire life to appear in a perfect image for society and hiding from the truth. I've done this so much and got so used to the "persona", that I almost lost myself... Truth is, I don't think I ever knew who I was until I began searching for the person I knew nothing about.

Many people use the saying, "Nobody knows YOU, better than YOU". Is this an accurate statement?! Or can a person truly see things that you refuse to see because you are biasly protecting who you think are or who you want people to think you are? See, I do not believe that anyone should ever succumb to negativity that others push upon them or become who THEY think you should be, however, I do believe in divine intervention and sometimes the Lord sends us people to intervene on our paths prior to creating our own roads of destruction. We have been programmed to reject any and everything told to us that is ABOUT US... Why?! Because we say nobody knows us better than us, right?!

The epidemic is intentional and it is relational... We must pray for discernment to be led by those who are for us and not be fooled by those who are imposters of the word of Christ. I have taken this lesson and applied it in my daily walk as I have been fooled on too many occasions, and often, I am fooling myself with beliefs of others and as a "supporter", passifying these beliefs. Today, I say NO MORE living the "perfect" life and isolating who I am because of what others may think. THIS is who I am and today I want to empower whoever I can with this list of imperfections... Please add to it in the comments as together we can be imperfect together as #WE are not alone! Women Enuff, Inc was not created to stand alone because WE stand for all women and there is someone else who is going through the same thing and it is time to break the silence so today I hashtag #WE as a form of connection to others who may have endured the same... #WE is saying that I am standing up for my sisters who may not have the voice to speak just yet, so I will speak for her as proof that she is not alone...

#WE HAVE BEEN HURT

#WE HAVE BEEN ABUSED

#WE HAVE BEEN AN ABUSER

#WE HAVE BEEN UNSTABLE

#WE HAVE HAD ANXIETY

#WE HAVE ATTEMPTED TO COMMIT SUICIDE

#WE HAVE LOST FRIENDS TO DOMESTIC ABUSE

#WE HAVE STRUGGLED WITH DEPRESSION

#WE ARE NOT PERFECT, BUT #WE ARE DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!!

Today is the first day of the rest of OUR lives and I am saying #WE have a long way to go... But #WE will make it through... TOGETHER!
